Adam Chin - Business Development Associate
Adam is a 5th year PhD candidate in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on characterizing the mechanical properties and loads of the TMJ as well as developing tissue engineering alternatives for TMJ disorders, utilizing biomaterials. Outside of the lab, Adam can be found on the tennis courts, playing guitar, or teaching his roommate’s dog new tricks.
Muying Wang - Operations and Informatics Associate
Muying is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering program at the University of Pittsburgh, Swanson School of Engineering. She received her B.S. degree in Traditional Chinese Pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University. Her research focuses on understanding systems-level mechanisms of diseases and drugs using computational methodologies. In her free time Muying enjoys learning foreign languages, travelling and exploring coffee shops.
Sarah Najjar - CMO/CPDO Liaison
Sarah is a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh. She studies sensory signaling in gut, to inform better treatments for digestive dysfunction and abdominal pain. Outside of the lab, Sarah enjoys playing basketball, going to indie shows, and trying out new vegan recipes.
Richard (Sam) Herron - Business Development Associate
Sam is a 3rd year PhD student in the Cellular and Molecular Pathology PhD program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His research focuses on the role of the 3’-mRNA processing phenomena alternative polyadenylation in maintaining normal neuronal physiologic function. In his downtime Sam enjoys composing and recording music, discovering new brunch restaurants, or hiking in the Allegheny Mountains
