Robert Baldock, PhD
Robert completed his PhD in the UK at the University of Sussex and is currently a 2nd year Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His research aims to identify genetic mutations that can be used to predict sensitivity of tumours to specific anti-cancer therapeutics. Outside of the laboratory, he enjoys exploring Pittsburgh, drinking coffee and has even been spotted kayaking on the Allegheny river.
Ethan is a third year PhD candidate in the Immunology program at the University of Pittsburgh. He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Bioengineering and a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship. Ethan’s general research interest is in using biomaterials to manipulate the immune system, and his current project involves regulatory T cells (Tregs), microparticles, and type 1 diabetes. In his free time Ethan enjoys trying new restaurants, ice skating, competing in fantasy football, and listening to a good podcast.
Adam is a 5th year PhD candidate in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on characterizing the mechanical properties and loads of the TMJ as well as developing tissue engineering alternatives for TMJ disorders, utilizing biomaterials. Outside of the lab, Adam can be found on the tennis courts, playing guitar, or teaching his roommate’s dog new tricks.
Dylan is a 5th year PhD candidate in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on using noninvasive neuroimaging and intracortical recordings to study human motor control and the relationship between neural activity across spatial scales. When not in lab, Dylan can often be found walking his husky through the entirety of Frick Park, attempting to perfect his chili recipe, or learning to develop virtual reality environments.
