Robert Baldock, PhD
Robert completed his PhD in the UK at the University of Sussex and is currently a 2nd year Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His research aims to identify genetic mutations that can be used to predict sensitivity of tumours to specific anti-cancer therapeutics. Outside of the laboratory, he enjoys exploring Pittsburgh, drinking coffee and has even been spotted kayaking on the Allegheny river.
Adam is a 5th year PhD candidate in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on characterizing the mechanical properties and loads of the TMJ as well as developing tissue engineering alternatives for TMJ disorders, utilizing biomaterials. Outside of the lab, Adam can be found on the tennis courts, playing guitar, or teaching his roommate’s dog new tricks.
